Absolutely exquisite dining experience! The attentive team was quick to answer any menu questions and made us feel welcome. The seafood platter, featuring octopus, lobster, shrimp, and oysters, was incredibly fresh and flavorful, while the Porterhouse steak was cooked to perfection—absolutely phenomenal. For drinks, we highly recommend the 212 Margarita and 212 Fizz—both were delightful! The lobster mac and cheese was indulgent and creamy, perfectly complemented by a side of broccoli for a touch of greens. A memorable meal ... read more
Octopus is ok, a little over burned. Lobster dynamics is good. I prefer it without the Japanese mayonnaise but they can’t make it without it. The halibut is good. I like its sauce. They don’t give more sauce as needed. Casual atmosphere. Overall it is ok not great
Warm, Cozy, with dim lighting, LED strips and Christmas decorations describes the atmosphere. Very clean. Service was VERY nice and patient with us. I got Pan Chicken (halal) and it was VERY tasty, the best dine in chicken I have ever had so far. The chicken itself was tender and very flavourful without being over salted, overcooked or too greasy. The refined mash potatoes was silky, soft, creamy and also flavourful. The fries are airy, thin and salty without being over salted or too oily. I didn’t try any mushrooms but peop... read more
Giving 2 stars and no more, should probably be less. Coming into the city, we were excited to find a halal steakhouse to try on this trip. Unfortunately, this is not a steakhouse we will return to when back in NYC. My husband and I were joined by some friends for a birthday dinner. Overall, this is not a place I would recommend to others. For fine dining, it has a nice ambiance, but even that could be better. The bathroom was a mess and was not kept clean. The service was okay, but there was even some problems with that (... read more
I visited the 212 steakhouse during my stay in NY before Christmas time. The restaurant was nicely decorated and the staff was friendly. I ordered a canadian Wagu Ribeye. The steak was cooked as requested, medium-well, and it was really soft. The taste was good, but I eas expecting much more taste from such type of cut. The final service to get the bill was quite long, but overall the experience at the 212 steakhouse was positive.
212 Steakhouse has a 4.5 star rating with 1,997 reviews.
212 Steakhouse is closed now. It will open at 12:00 p.m.
