My stay at 21 East Battery Bed & Breakfast was absolute perfection from start to finish. The property itself is stunning — a true piece of Charleston history. I stayed in the carriage house, which is gorgeous, spacious, and full of charm. My wife and 2 daughters stayed here this past weekend and absolutely loved it! From it's perfect location to all things Charleston, to the amazing fresh baked breakfast goods provided by Julie, to the wonderful accommodations, it was all a 5 star experience. And top it off that the home itself is so full of history. Thank you for a spectacular 3 days.
Wonderful location. Provided breakfast was delicious. Quite respite in busy Charleston. Enjoyed learning about historic home on included home tour.
I am highly disappointed in the service of the innkeeper. We rented out the venue for my wedding. Not once did Julie come say hello, welcome us to the place, or even say goodbye at checkout. She walked past us and didn’t acknowledge us when we tried to talk to her. The E.A. house is worth a 5 star review for its location and even rooms. Julie did have it spotless for our arrival and wedding weekend, we are just sad she’s not a friendly person for such a lovely place.
