We stayed in the carriage house a couple of years back which was great! However, when trying to book the two bedroom “The Quarters” for myself husband and mother in law The reservationist for some reason put us down for two people at $450 per night. I tried contacting management numerous times only to be let down a dead end road. I tried emailing two different emails only for the emails to be bounced back. I was trying to find out if a manager could resolve the issue because the end keeper was demanding another $75 per night... read more

We had a wonderful stay at 21 East Battery B and B--until our departure. The accommodations were well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect, and the treats Julie provided were delicious. We also thoroughly enjoyed our free tour of the Edmundson-Alston house. Checkout is 11 am and Julie came in promptly at 11 while we were still loading our car. My husband asked if we could have 5 minutes and she started cleaning up. My husband and I along with our Best Friends stay in the Kitchen House twice a year! I refuse to stay anywhere else! The location is perfect! You get to stay in a piece of history! Julie, the Innkeeper is wonderful! She is like family and she makes the best treats! The BnB is quiet, peaceful and perfect! As you walk out the front door you see Fort Sumter on the horizon, as you are on the waterfront amongst the mansions of The Battery! Do yourself a favor and stay here, it’s wonderful!

Fabulous find! Lucky to have booked a room one of two rooms (a 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom) behind the historic Edmondston-Alston house. Our one bedroom townhome setup was both cozy and very comfortable for our 3 night stay. The kitchen was hocked full of all the necessities for tea, coffee, and basic kitchen needs. And our innkeeper Julie spun up some amazing breakfast treats, including, both individual egg quiches and freshly baked muffins. We had a wonderful and comfortable stay, and look forward to booking again, hopefully s... read more

We made reservations here. We later had to cancel but were well within the full refund cancellation period. We even received an email saying we would receive a full refund. When we didn’t, we followed up and were told we needed to contact our credit card company. We did and disputed the charge which the credit card company resolved in our favor. We did get a full refund but it should not have required that we dispute the charge with our credit card company. For clarification, the reservation was made by my wife, Laura. She r... read more
