As first time homebuyers I thought we were making a good decision on buying a home built by this company despite all the doubts I had. Unfortunately months latter I see it’s worse that I thought, the house is on a hill that now is running down and needs a retention wall as soon as possible, on top of that there’s another bigger hill behind the house that will also need a retention wall which we can’t afford and has water running down accumulating right beside the house which means they did not care about any drainage systems... read more

Their communication was excellent, and were always responsive, kept us informed throughout the process, and addressed any questions promptly. Within the past four months, we had purchased a build here in Buncombe County from 2020 Builders. Albeit nothing special about the home, it was what we were looking for. We have our first little boy due in several weeks as well as a puppy in our home. There were minor inconveniences, such as 2x4 panels not flush on the railings and small plumbing issues. At the time that we were under contract, the well they had built had been built on someone else’s property. After finally getting an easement, I blew it off as human error. ... read more
