Nice place with a stocked common kitchen and lots of outdoor seating. Close to nice restaurants.
Very pared down room although the bed linens and pillows were luxurious. Unfortunately, our room lacked (1) drinking glasses, (2) tissues, (3) thermostat or fan, (4) shelves in the bathroom to hold toiletries and Dobb kit. We were on the ground floor which obviously had been the basement so that felt a little gloomy. When we arrived, there were 4 Woodard service vans taking up 5 of the parking spaces and one other space was taken by what appeared to be an employee (beat up Toyota with a pink fur steering wheel). I'm unsure what this Hotel was like before but I think it's awesome today. The room was nice, great vibe, bathroom was big, shower was hot, and the ac worked like a charm. This location is one of the best you can get if you enjoy walkability, an abundance of food options, and a history lesson at every corner. This was my first time in Charlottesville Va and I won't be staying anywhere else if I can help it! Thank you 200 South!
Ein wunderbares, privatgeführtes Boutiquehotel (bed & breakfast) mit freundlicher Betreueng durch Rezeption und Frühstückspersonal. Makellos saubere Zimmer mit schönen Vintagemöbeln. Zentrale Lage mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten auf dem Hotelgelände.
This is a nice place to stay. It has changed a lot from what it used to be. It's very impersonal and lost quite a bit of its charm. It used to be one of our favorite places to stay.
