Of the two services I have used when buying a home, this one was a waste of money and time. I put in a service request for our garbage disposal(was rusted out on the bottom and allowing water to spill in the cabinet under the sink) and 2-10 HBW claimed they could not find anyone in their network, which meant I had to find a contractor, set up an appointment, and upon 2-10 HBW's review and approval, then submit my expenses for reimbursement. "She doesn't want to talk to nobody [sic] right now." - Direct quote from a fast-talking service rep about her supervisor who refused to talk to me after I waited on hold for 15 minutes. WORST COMPANY EVER! No customer service skills at all. Deserves 0 stars. 2-10 assigned a horrible plumbing company (Advanced Heating & Cooling in Knoxville, TN) to fix a leaking water heater. Wonderful and caring company. We have used the, multiple times this past year!!! Highly recomended for any homeowner who wants to protect their home. Our service rep Elizabeth was so sweet and beyond helpful. I wish all businesses were this punctual and helpful!
This company is great and as long as you get the coverage you need, it can save you a lot of money. Just like car insurance, if you only have liability, they won't cover everything. In the past year, we have had two toilets replaced, a dishwasher replaced, a new furnace installed, a new garbage disposal, and snaking of our drains. This warranty has saved us immense amount of money. The customer service here is great and we have had our warranty since 2010.
