Awesome First Street Bar is a great place to go to have a good time. The prices are very reasonable and as mentioned in other reviews the shots are well endowed. The service is great!

Great Vibe We love coming here for a night out. It is in a great location for doing the encinitas "crawl". Drinks are reasonable and they don't cheat you on a shot.
Other choices are better – No question good location but there are several other watering holes that provide MUCH more for the money very (<1/2 mile away) close by.....D Street Bar....Beachside Bar and Grill. !st street doesn't serve any food, dirty bathrooms and a LOT to be desired in terms of friendly bartender service. If you like 50+ yr old guys drinking and playing pool this is your place.
Can't wait for FOOTBALL SEASON. This establishment is great, tons of BIG SCREEn TVs, but get there early, because seating is limited. Great Wait Staff (for the most part) and fast service. GO CHARGERS!!!
