On Friday, 5/7/21, we took our cat to 1st Pet in Mesa. He had a bowel obstruction and was in need of iv fluids for dehydration and an enema. I agree with nekar's experience from 6 months ago. It's all about the money, overcharge, underdeliver, rude front desk and large turnover in doctors. No one wants to hand off their pet for 3 or more hours for non-emergency and then pay over $500 in medical bills. Seriously?

The front desk staff were initially accommodating and rushed my cat to the back to be seen as it was an emergency situation. I was ushered into a very lovely examination room, talked with an incredible vet tech about what happened, and that's where the good experience ended. Almost 3 hours after talking to the vet tech, I had yet to see the veterinarian or know what was going on with my cat. After talking to the receptionist at the front about... read more
