Yesterday on 3/4/2026, around 2pm-ish I was calling about an issue with my credit card that turned out to be my fault. But that’s besides the point, the lady that was helping me at first when I called was very RUDE, she was both aggressive and passively aggressive and she kept getting smart with me. Unnecessary charges/fees, inconsistent enforcement of fees, more fees, not very convenient, more fees, etc. This is being money hungry and I've banked with them for over 10 years. They’ve also taken over $700 out of my account in ‘error’ before. So definitely pay attention to your accounts. This latest $5 fee is it for me. I DO NOT recommend them.
Kelly Brooks was very helpful, she gave me an option I didn't know was available to me, she let me know when she would be able to get back to me, and responded quickly when I had questions!!!
I have been with the Credit Union for 15 years and I have no complaints. They have helped me achieve many things in that time and I am grateful for that. They are always respectful and helpful, if any problem were to arise. I highly recommend 1st Mid America Credit Union.
