My mother has been with 1st Golden Care for over five years, and we couldn't be more grateful. From the owner, Ruta Kidane, down through her entire staff, my mother is surrounded by warm, caring, and highly capable caretakers who treat her like family. I looked at a lot of care homes, beautiful and not so nice. When I walked into 1st Golden Care that was it! It knew this was the place for my Mother. All the reviews the people have written are all true I cannot say much more. Ruta and Michael and their staff give such good care for my Mother. Being at 1st Golden Care Adult Family Home has been a wonderful experience. Ruta and her staff are so professional and caring. No matter what I have needed, they have been there for me, to comfort and to heal. The other residents are also very nice. We have truly become an "adult family" home. You will have to look hard to fine a more professional and compassionate place to receive the care you need.
I am happy with the choice my daughters and I made picking this place for mom. Ruta and her caregivers have been great. Ruta visited mom when she was in the hospital, and has been great trying to make mom feel included in her new home. It has been 3 months now. My mom is a complainer by nature, but if any place can turn that around it would be this place.
My sisters and I are very happy with the care that is consistently given to our mother. She is in a warm, friendly and safe environment. Mom loves the group games.
