Where do I start to compliment the staff of 1st Franklin Financial in Abbeville, LA. The staff is awesome. Summer Cubley went above & beyond to help us get our mortgage loan. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BOTHERING WITH THIS PLACE! I took out a loan over a year ago with them, paid my bill BEFORE the due date and MORE than what was due EVERY month! I got behind when trying to move into another home and couldn't make the following payment on time. When I called, a lady by the name of "Shaquanna" (¿) picked up and explained to me that they would be filing a suit against me, all because of one payment! Their customer service is atrocious. I asked about a service fee that was added to my account she explained. I told her to process the payment explaining that I would not have had the charge had they let me pay out the loan last month like I intended to. Next thing I know I'm speaking with the male manager. Asked if I could post a complaint for basically being hung up on or just passed along to someone else. Very good company. they really believe in working with people with not the best credit. They not only help with getting you a loan but, how to improve your credit. I recommend them to anyone that needs help with a short term loan. There's just something special about a company that believe's in educating you with all the knowledge of how credit can help you in our very difficult times. thanks to Mr. Bert Brown this is a very honest and christian agency.
