My family and I have been using 1st Choice Auto for a few years now. Mike the owner does a great job taking care of the customer and their automotive needs. If you're looking for a good mechanic who won't put you through the ringer, I highly recommend 1st Choice Auto Service LLC in Newport NH. He's by far the best garage in the area, and the only mechanic I trust when it comes to my vehicle's health.
I recommended that my son take his truck here to get some suspension parts put on and new brakes . He just got the truck and has been eagerly awaiting the repairs . He waited 2 weeks for an appointment no big deal. Then dropped his truck off. After a week nothing not even a call from the shop saying they would be late. It was supposed to have been done like 4 times now according to the shop and every time we call they have not even got it in too work on it . Stumbled on this fabulous Auto Shop during a stressful time traveling back and forth to DH Leb and desperately needed an oil and filter change. Despite not having an appointment Mike fit me in which I so appreciate. Great service, fair price and if like me you prefer "local garages" this is the place. Wish I loved closer to go here regularly!
