I have used this company to transport my mother and was lucky to have a wonderful team. Unfortunately, I have had far many more bad experiences with this company and some of their unprofessional drivers. One driver in particular is too lazy to park his van in the handicap space and load his passenger in the designated area. I and the facility have complained many times to no avail. On June 14, 2024 we booked a round trip for my dad to NYU Hospital in Mineola, NY for which we paid $180.00 via check. We never requested a pickup trip. This being the case, we were told that a refund of $90.00 would be mailed to us. It’s now October 13, 2025 and we’ve yet to receive the refund money . I’ve called numerous times, been put on hold for ever and promised that the refund is on its way. 1st Choice transported my grandma from a rehab center back to her home this past weekend, and the experience was outstanding, especially compared to other ambulette services we’ve used in the past. Scheduling was simple, the driver arrived right on time, and the entire team was friendly, professional, and made her feel safe and comfortable. I felt completely at ease throughout the process, and we’ll definitely be using 1st Choice again for future transportation needs. Highly recommend.

First choice has wonderful drivers and helpers. They are very respectful, caring, professional and polite. I would like to give a shout out to German van 122. He is a fantastic gentleman who cares a lot about my mom. He always make sure she is safe and comfortable. He is very professional.
