Just grabbed some ribtips at 1st Base BBQ stand for ragbrai in Independence. So glad we stopped!! Mouth watering goodness, YUMMMM!! My boys loved it too!
Hired to come to an event, deposit, confirmed and then an hour before says not coming. Might be decent BBQ. Will never know. Poor way to run a business.
Me and mom got the rib tips and my dad got the wings with baked beans and potato salad. The tips were crisp on the outside had a smoked flavor and the wings were tender and had a less of a smoked flavor. The barbecue sauce was excellent.
Little spot take out service was great .needs hot bbq sauce
The best ribs I’ve ever tasted. I will be coming back!
