A Hidden Gem with the Best Shower in Deadwood! I stayed in the Attic Room at the 1899 Inn and can honestly say—it was an unforgettable experience. Short walk to downtown Deadwood. Excellent breakfast cooked every morning and the owners are friendly and full of information about the history of the house and things around Deadwood. We stayed in the Attic Suite, which was huge with an awesome bathroom.
My husband and I stayed here eight and a half years ago on our honeymoon. The hosts were very hospitable, and the entire house was very clean and absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend staying at least one night here if you plan to make a stop in Deadwood, South Dakota!
We stayed at this lovely Inn on our recent trip to Deadwood. First of all, the location is perfect- just a short walk away from the busy Deadwood, but located in a quiet neighborhood. Our room was immaculate, and the bed was so comfy. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast and delicious coffee! The new owners have great attention to detail and made us feel so welcome. We're definitely coming back!
Truly, an experience to behold!
