This is not the same 1896 O’Malley House we have experienced over 10 years. What was once an example of southern hospitality is no longer the case. From dead flowers on the table to clogged plumbing and deep grime and no access to the patio due to debris and dead landscape it was disappointing. Sally the owner attempted to make it right but it was quickly evident the management is challenging for her. We were visiting Tulane for a college tour, my husband, my son, and I. We booked a room for three. Hesitant about the third-person accommodation, I called before booking to confirm they had a suitable arrangement for my 17-year-old son. A lady confirmed to me with confidence that they have rooms for 3 and that they were very comfortable. When we arrived, the third accommodation turned out to be a broken and very old twin-size sofa sleeper that seemed to be from the 60s. My husband to be and I stayed at this lovely Bed and Breakfast Thanksgiving week. We were greeted by Mrs. Sally who graciously told us all the details we would need to know regarding our stay. She was professional, friendly and welcoming! The next morning we met our fantastic chef, Jennifer! She told us about what we would be eating that morning; our menu was delicious!
