We stayed here for a wedding in Moretown. The room was exactly as pictured online— a comfortable bed in a clean, tidy room with all necessary amenities. The included breakfast was made to order by Sean and quite delicious. It was a pleasure to get to know our hostesses, Farrell & Sean. Will definitely choose the 1824 House again.
Our stay at the 1824 Inn was exceptional. The hospitality, room, and location all exceeded expectations. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The made-to-order breakfast was delicious with several options daily. We also ate dinner in the Barn on Saturday night and this was outstanding. The Innkeeper's Sean and Farrell were friendly and inviting. Looking forward to future visits to Vermont.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was our first visit to Vermont (but not our last) and 1824 House Inn and Barn exceeded our expectations for comfort, hospitality, and location. The room was nice-sized and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and they had the pull-out chair all made up for our granddaughter. The breakfasts were delicious, made-to-order, and the coffee was piping hot! Wonderful hosts and great place to stay!
Lovely stay. I would definitely stay here again. My room was a bit noisier as it faced the road but a sound machine masks the car noise easily.
This was our second time staying at the 1824 House Inn. Sean and Farrell are excellent hosts and make you feel at home and very welcome at their inn. Sean’s breakfasts were delicious and not to be missed. We’ll definitely return for a 3rd visit.
