We had a wonderful stay at the 1824 House Inn + Barn! Sean and Farrell were incredibly gracious hosts—it truly felt like we were visiting family. The food at the Barn restaurant was absolutely delicious, the location was ideal for exploring central Vermont, and the house and rooms were both cozy and inviting. The beds were also exceptionally comfortable as well, which was so needed for a restful and relaxing getaway. We’ll definitely be back the next time we visit Vermont!

The Bennington Roon was very comfortable. Our hosts were very friendly and the breakfasts were delicious. Looking forward to visiting again in the Spring.

We booked last minute and were pleased to find a room. The room was clean with nothing premium or below average. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and the barn was a terrific set up for the meal.

We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome reception in the barn at 1824. Couldn't be more happy with the way it all turned out. Farrell was wonderful to work with! She is very detailed oriented and her, and her staff, went out of their way to be helpful and on top of things. The food was fantastic and the gluten free options for me were so good (esp the dessert!)! Loved the overflow space outside with the bonfires, games and smores! Really lovely space! Thank you Farrell!
