RecommendedBeautiful day to make a long awaited trip to one of my favorite shops! (Thanks COVID-19) Melissa and her mother explained the new process to experience all the wonderful smells. I brought a list of candles I was interested in and was treated to fragrance samples places with names of the chosen candles on a tray. I left with my favorites and a sample of a soon to be favorite! Run-don’t walk-to 1820house and enjoy the new way to experience this wonderful little shop!
Candle scents are great. Worth the drive to East Palestine to sniff and purchase. Red Cedar Smoulder is wonderful. I've purchased three times.

The candles actually smell fantastic and burn even. No waste. The store is clean and the nicest in the town. Missy has good taste in scents and fashion. Friendly staff

We absolutely love these candles! They burn so clean, you can smell them even when they aren't burning if open but are not overwhelming at all! It's almost impossible to pick a favorite scent, we always get a few different ones so we can switch them out. Right now I have the Avocado & Mint in the kitchen and it's so fresh and clean and really helps banish those lingering kitchen smells.
I was gifted a French Baguette candle this week and it is amazing! Hands down, this is my favorite of all my 1820 candles! They all burn slowly and smell awesome for hours and sometimes days after blowing them out!
CLEAN burning candles! I've sold candles in my shop for years and these are the best. Not overpowering and the scents are so unique. No Banana Nut Bread here! ;) If you haven't tried the Fir Grapefruit for Christmas...you've missed out. I want to drive over and smell every one of them.... 5+hour drive, but I'll get there soon!
