In the 10 months I have lived here there was water damage on my bathroom ceiling. A building caused flood in the kitchen that caused the wood floor to buckle causing about a 6inch hump that causes tripping, sheetrock damage and warped cabinets. The management has been grossly incompetent in handling the situation
172 Montague Street apartment building was a great experience. Excellent staff and services. Plus the rooftop view was amazing! The only reason why I am no longer a tenant there is because they did not have any 2 bedrooms apartments available, and at that time i was in a One bedroom. I highly recommend the building.

The heating bills were extremely high ($843 in Feb for 1 person/1 bedroom). Despite paying so much, and constantly being energy conscious, I was still cold all winter long. All-in-all, I paid around $6,500 for energy over the course of 2 years. The heating costs/inefficiency are well-known problems for many tenants in the building (the building chat attests to this).
