This clinic continues to tell parents (my ex) that eating >20g (4 teaspoons) of added sugar a day is ok as long as you brush your teeth. My kid is the only kid I know that has 2 baby root canals and yet another cavity, if not annually, because her mom thinks its ok to consume so much junk food in between meals as "snacks", without brushing teeth more. This was my first visit to 16th Avenue dental clinic. Dr. Fung was very professional. Very gentle and explained everything. Very painless and I have no complaints. I Would highly recommend him

I texted texted the receptionist request an appointment for a gum refill procedure where the gum is protruding to confirm the purpose of the visit. However, when I arrived, the dentist tried to push me to do X-rays (which I already did last year) and even suggested an implant, which I never requested. When I declined, the dentist said I would have to come back another day for the gum refill because the receptionist had only booked a 30-minute “checkup” slot-even though my message had been very clear.
