After having to unfreeze my account multiple times, and the bank closing early on multiple Saturdays, I will be switching to a different bank
The fraud detection is so sensitive that I have to regularly unfreeze my card, but the fraud detection hotline takes hours to notify me so I can fix it.
Loved this bank a decade ago. Fraud detection is the worst, its overly sensitive. Paid a bill online ard my card got shut down on a friday afternoon, and I NEVER RECEIVED A FRAUD ALERT! I found out when I couldn't purchase groceries. In addition to the lack of in app alerts about app unavailablity, which left me unable to transfer and pay rent, and needing to replace my card every few months because the chip stops working, I'm beyond unsatisfied.
Requires physical social security card to open bank account, which is not actually needed. They just need the number and an ID but they insisting they need to e physical copy.
