Even though there location was to far for me the assistance I received was A1 ! They paved the way for me in a professional friendly way and for that I am extremely thankful . The vibe I received was that there major concern is putting good drivers on the road wether you go with them or another academy . I will forever be thankful to 160 for the assistance they provided . Juan and Winton taught me all I needed to know to pass my test. Couldn’t have done it without their knowledge, expertise, and patience!
Quick and easy school to go to and get your CDL. Had a fun and healthy environment, students were all nice and we all got along. The instructors were super helpful and will take the time even after end of day to help you, as long as you ask for it. My online instructor Ed Hargrove was super nice, funny, and good at getting the info needed for the permit across. Juan and Winton from the oceanside Yard location were awesome. Oceanside Yard. 160 Driving Academy, an interesting name for a hurry up and wait crash course school. Everything is rush rush rush. Hardly anytime to learn anything casually or naturally. This so called Academy can't even fix unoperational trucks. The school will tell you go ahead and sit in this broken truck and practice your air breaks test. Or even better go into another different broken truck that does not even turn on and do some imaginary practices for air breaks testing. Meanwhile we're playing musical broken trucks. ... read more
