I would not recommend 160 Driving Academy in Memphis based on my experience. One of the biggest issues is that they advertise having a third-party tester, but they don’t. Instead, students end up waiting weeks just to get scheduled for their CDL test, which delays getting to work. The instruction was also disappointing. I do not recommend this school. They get you in with different lies saying it’s the best school in the trucking economy. Also said when business hear you went to school here it stands out and they always ready to hire you. All of this was said by Mr. Larry. I wouldn't recommend this school to no one. 4 week class turned into 4 months and still counting. GO to TN Tech for 1,500 or Road master for 7k. I got a friend that I told not to go here. A guy named Larry was telling him they are the Mercedes of the trucking school. Don't fall for it. My friend told me he feel like giving up. I feel so bad even for other students dealing with this. I called today and Cynthia is so rude!!!!!!!!!!! She hung up in my face while talking to her. I asked for a supervisor or another representative and she said there is no-one else. Why do y’all hire these people and they are rude. First thing they say is we are rude but then when you get someone who is not rude your are rude!!!! We’re paying for a serve and get treated like bad citizens!!!! Shame on y’all!!!!!…. Over here being rude !!!! You don’t deserve my money or time.
