So my time there was amazing. The instructor was very helpful. For example, I had to miss some school, and he worked with me. Twice I had to leave for days. I will say this: ask questions if you don't know what to do. He doesn't know what he can help you with unless you open your mouth. Thanks, bro, I've been working from day one. Your advice is spot on. THANK YOU FOR NOT GIVING UP ON ME.
40 hours of virtual class then 160 hours of yard and on road practice/training. I enjoyed my experience here. The yard trainer Jerry was very knowledgeable. He did not (and should not) hold your hand. He explained the maneuvers and gave us the freedom to practice and really get the feel for the movements of the tractor and trailer. Previous student , ive sign with amazon career choice. This is a self taught program, after ur 40 hrs supposedly need., they will lie to one of the other managers that u got ur 40. Even tho you didn't. They will also lock ur pratice & training account to access everything you need. Then out of 6 tests from ur account you only get a chance to take 1 of those test. So my experience here has been great, Mr. Creed has been great. I seen the reviews on here I'm so surprised, my son went here thats why I picked this place. So my opinion is its a great place to come get trained to get pass your CDL test. I do have some road experience but my son didnt he went to swift where he had a mentor with him be letting him lose on his own. So let me finish this up. It's definitely a place I would recommend.
Experience n training was good but was too long, supposed to be a month long from start to finish but wind up taking 2 mos, i understand there are obstacles n things happen but when a course's timeframe is doubled something is wrong, something needs to change. Other than that Jarrod n Jerry were very friendly and professional with ther jobs
