I came onto the yard the first day a nervous wreck and didn’t think I was going to pass at all. Over the first week Chris got all that out of my head and taught me EVERYTHING I needed to know to be able to pass my tests on the first go round over the next two. I came in barely being able to single clutch shift a basic standard vehicle and in 3 weeks Chris had me double clutching so well that the test proctor ranked me in the top 10 smoothest shifters of the 400+ people he’s tested. I was a student at 160 Charleston. My time in the class room with Bridgette was great, she’s an amazing person to be around. My time at the yard with John and Chris was great! John and Chris are the best instructors and definitely deserve a bonus for having the nerves of steel to deal with teaching me how to driver a 8 speed! All in all 160 is an amazing place and would recommend ANYONE to go there to get your CDL’s.

I’d like to thank John and Chris, two great men with patience and gratitude for the job and pride they take in their students and wanting them to succeed.
