The trucks are old and run down with two gears (manual) inoperable. Instructors dissappear, leaving students to self teach. Hours are upticked, with 15 min counted as 1 hr. Students don't pass the road test. Then they want you to pay $1200 more claiming you maxed out your hours. School is a complete waste of money, often times the ratio of students per truck is 6:1 which is insane. They don’t tell you in the front/sales office how crappy the equipment is or the ratio of students to available equipment because the salesman most likely earns a commission based on how many potential students he recruits. I only paid $1500 for the school due to tuition assistance from my union, if I paid over $5000 I’d be livid. Save your money and go to another school.

For the price of the "so called academy", it is pretty much self taught. Given a script of how to say a pre-trip inspection, without what stuff actually does beyond the brakes. I had to teach the guys in my group about backing up trailers and a trick with the steering wheel. They give you a short one time "turn the wheel one turn this and one turn this way" without explanations. It took four weeks for us to be shown a proper parallel park. Do not go there. Anyone that gave over a 1 star review is a fake account you have been warned to not give them your money. Find another school. Then I tried to call the school multiple times to talk to someone about my time there and they could not be bothered to call me back. Shame on them for running their business this way. They should be embarrassed for taking people's hard earned money.
