Wonderful instructors, the corporate side seems to be an insane mess. They decided to get rid of an instructor in the middle of my yard training and that left us with 2 instructors and like 12 students. There were multiple days where we were forced to stay in the yard without an instructor and “practice pre trip” for 4 hours, which at that point in training everyone had 100% completed pre trip but we should have been working on maneuvers and getting road time. Classes are organized and structured. Do not rely on the information givin in the course, to be all encompassing. The CDL test will have ambiguous questions that will make you second guess what you were taught. Good luck getting a hold of anybody in the offices if it's not through text. I have called up there 17 times and get a voicemail every time. The texting numbers that they contact me through alternates between different numbers for a single text thread. just now New DO NOT absolutely DO NOT pay out of pocket for this academy. it’s a waste of time and they could care less about your future. 18 students and 2 instructors, the regional manager the branch manager and the yard director are a joke this company only exist because of the government grants students and Amazon contract. Kellen the branch manager has great communication and will answer any questions you have. My week of classroom here was great. Even though I had my permit already I still learned stuff I didn’t know. I appreciated all the information I got from here. You do online courses and learn everything you need to know before going to the yard. Thanks kellen
