Most days/nights I would rather have fro-yo than an actually meal. 16 Handles is expensive, like most fro-yo in NYC, but quality and tons and tons of toppings to choose from. My favorite is the brownie and cake batter flavors that are usually there year-round. They have fresh mochi and fruit, but I always end up putting some chocolate hot fudge to top it off!
I have stopped here on numerous occasions to try out all the various flavors they have to offer, and I think the best thing about 16 Handles is that they have been the best at walking that fine line of having a clean establishment while not looking so sterile that you feel like you are in a hospital (like other froyo places). When in the mood for froyo 16 Handles does the trick. Choices always seem limitless here. What makes this place standout from other 16 Handles is the seating arrangement and decor. Other than it being a bit loud from the blasting speakers, the bright colorful ambiance gives it an edge.
Their latest location in the Big Apple. Service and staff was knowledgeable and quick to handle any problems. Lots of flavors and toppings. Had the chocolate crunchies toppings -- the best topping for a chocolate lover.
