At risk of sounding dramatic, this gym truly both changed and saved my life in so many ways. The community alone contributes to such a feeling of wealth and security. The staff has always been encouraging, receptive, and kind.
I would be struggling massively if it wasn’t for 1201 CrossFit. When I moved to Elkins, WV last year my brother told me about it and I immediately thought you need to do that. The workouts are challenging, well thought out and make you feel like a million bucks afterwards. We had a new change of program recently and that has been amazing, great decision. I’ve been a member at 1201 CrossFit coming up on 7 years. I enjoy my workouts with great coaches instructing us and protecting us from injuries. Our workout program is planned-warm ups/strength and skill work/ workout of the day/ cool down. Just show up and enjoy the company of friends as you stay fit and healthy. I've been a member of 1201 since 2017 and it's a 10/10 crossfit and healthy diversity group. Best part is the strong community and accountability with incredible members (now friends) that help me stay consistent. Also...for real... the coaching and structure has lead me to better long-term results vs my typical gym experience.
