The physical therapist Brian made me so uncomfortable I stopped going. He repeatedly told me I should be more excited about his solution to my pain even though I was still having pain. He expected/demanded that I smile, laugh, and jump up and down about his “cure” even though he had a completely flat affect. It was weird and sexist. The rest of the staff were friendly and respectful. Also the equipment was dirty and broken down. East Harlem deserves better than this.
The team at the 2nd ave location are highly knowledgeable, professional, and wonderful to work with. I completed therapy with Brandon and he took time to inform me of how and why each exercise would improve my overall recovery journey so k can continue with my progress at home. Their hours are perfect for people that need to maneuver around work schedules and their facility is clean and conveniently located if you live on the east side.
I am writing this review to commend my therapy experience at Triumph. My therapist was Sheraz and I highly recommend him. He is an excellent therapist. I had hip replacement surgery and the therapy given by Sheraz was excellent. He explains everything he is doing and listens and answers any questions that I had. He is exceptional at what he does and cares about the well being of his clients. If I should need therapy again I would definitely go back to Triumph and have Sheraz as my therapist. I had a wonderful experience working with Brandon at the 2nd avenue location. All the staff are kind and wonderful people!! I was having pain in my left elbow and Brandon did a through assessment with me to determine the root of my problems were in my neck and upper back. We worked together for about five weeks and I am now pain free and can go back to my regular weight training routine. Brandon listens, is very supportive and is very skilled and knowledgable. I strongly recommend Triumph Physical Therapy.
