I wish I took before photos of my dress. I brought Sheila this dress I ordered off of Windsor in a medium, granted I’m an extra small, 4’11, 93lbs. Not only did Sheila transform this dress, she also changed the straps that were basically nonexistent and flimsy to velvety, secure straps. When I came for the fitting, I was able to take the dress home the same day! No second alterations which is the problem I usually have. Sheila also altered my fiancé’s suit jacket and it fit her perfectly!! I highly highly recommend!
I can’t say enough kind words about Sheila and the love and care she took for my dress. I came to her with a BEAST of a wedding dress with about a million layers that all needed to be hemmed to my 4’11” frame. She consistently worked with me to make sure the dress fit me and not the other way around. When my family came in from out of town, she let us have a spontaneous visit so they could see the dress and it felt like Sheila became part of our family that day. Sheila was absolutely amazing to work with! I live 2.5 hours away and drove that multiple times because of the fantastic things I’ve heard and I don’t regret that for a second. She had to take my wedding dress in by 4 inches, as well as completely alter the back of my dress, and create custom off-the-shoulder sleeves. After having Shiela tailor a few shirts and pants, I knew she would be perfect for helping me with a couple of suits and a dinner jacket that needed some love. The catch was I just landed a new job and would need to have them back on a fairly short time frame. She came through. Having to basically rebuild one of the suit pants, hem the other, and then somehow make the dinner jacket fit, which was a size too small, I got everything back in time and the fit was perfect.
