Great location and design. I am native to this town and moved back home to an affordable unit as I believe 11 have been set aside for affordable rates agreed upon with the town in infant phase. Director of leasing lacks knowledge of fair housing law and has targeted different tenants making for a very unpleasant renting experience. The apartment is fine, unless you value your rights to quiet enjoyment and to have a reasonable opportunity to sleep. The traffic noise, especially the motorcycles, trucks, and sirens, isn’t unexpected since the building is on the busiest street in town. Three nights a week you can enjoy a persistent stream of high decibel dance music straight from the bar next door that comes through the apartment window directly into your skull from about 4 pm until 1 am. 11 East Pleasant is a clean, modern, and well-maintained building with a minimalist design. My studio is very spacious, fully furnished at no extra cost, and quiet thanks to thick walls. While there is some bar noise from The Spoke on weekends, it ends around 11 p.m. and has not been disruptive. The location is excellent. It’s my first time every write a comments, and I will try to be fair. The main reason I write this comments is because I been locked inside of the elevator for 20mins,and no one help show up, even though I call the emergency maintenance, they said they are on the way. Secondly, the reason I’m mad about it is because 4 hours ago, there were fire alarm goes on for the entire building already. So they should done their job to make sure everything else is safe. I don’t move in until this weekend but I’m very excited to do so. I first inquired in June for their affordable housing and they have been very responsive and helpful each step along the way. Cameron especially was patient with me during the application for affordable housing and RAFT. When a miscommunication came up regarding the apartment being furnished, he went above and beyond and spoke about it with his supervisors and agreed to remove the furniture as a good gesture.
