Came in for a visit. If I lived in San Diego area I would strongly consider this gym. Nice mats, great friendly gym culture and very good level of training.
My daughter and I were in SD for vacation. Wanted to get some training in for my daughter. 10th P- South Bay was great! The great instructors made my daughter feel a part of the team. No strict dress code where drops ins have to wear the gym logo’d gear. Awesome classes!! 10/10 would train here if we lived in SD.
I'm a high school teacher who uses summers to drop in at different academies -- and training at 10th Planet South Bay was easily one of the best decisions I've made. Facilities: The mat space is huge, so there's no need to sit out rounds unless you want to. There's plenty of room to train stand-up and wrestling, and the gym even has two angled walls -- a rare setup that gives even casual hobbyists a feel for how high-level competitors train.
