1042 collision is the best collision shop on Long Island. the reason that I say this is because they took the best care of my car and also when I had any questions the answered them with the most educated answers that they could give me. Every person that helped me were super nice. Someone hit me and totaled my car, they took care of everything and made sure that I got what I deserved. 1042 is the best and I wouldn't suggest anywhere else.

What I like best about 1042 is their soup to nuts quality service with no second thoughts what so ever. Drop off your car, drive home in a rental and reclaim your car in a seamlessly smooth hassle free process. Marie handles it all!

Every time my friends, family or myself need to deal with getting back to normal after the accident, 1042 Collision especially Marie (the owner) are there to help and make the process as smooth as possible for us. Marie is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with all the insurance tips on how would be the best to handle a claim with insurance companies. I was in an accident with a truck last month. I couldn’t believe the amount of damage done to my car. The front bumper and the right fender were ripped right off and there was obviously a good deal of damage beneath the fender. The passenger door was dented so badly that it could not be opened. I'd like to call out the courtesy and professionalism of the 1042 team. My car needed a detailing and the 1042 team got to it in no time and my car was returned cleaner then the day I took it home from the dealer. Another great experience from the 1042 team. Shout out to Marie and Amanda who treat me like family. You guys rock!

Terrible. 1042 and the insurance carrier could not agree on a price. While it is the auto body shop's right to reject the insurance carrier's offer, my car was held hostage until 1042 was paid $750. This fee included $150 in storage fees (those are industry standard), but the additional $600 mostly represented an "administration" fee and 10% of the offer submitted by the insurance carrier. 1042's written agreement does provide for the storage fees and 10% amount, but I have never heard of an auto body shop charging for s... read more
