I had a great experience. I had the pleasure of getting my locs retwisted by Twana. She is very nice, down to earth and professional. She did a great job and I do recommend others to come here.
My stylist Aaliyah @theglamplug.liyah was below average overall. She kept changing the pricing which was very deceptive, forgetting prior conversations of what she told me was the total for the style. (Please get your pricing in writing or she will try to up the price hoping you forgot)She charged way more in the middle of doing my hair and quoted me 4 hours and ended up taking 8 hours. Overall for all the hassle I would have chosen a more honest, ethical more talented not so slow stylist!
It was my first time at this salon and the first time visiting a salon in 5 years! I just moved downtown and my ends were STRUGGLING and needed some professional TLC! I booked with Sky and she did an amazing job! Had amazing customer service. I felt heard and well taken care of 😊 plus her energy is so refreshing! I booked a dry cut and hair consultation! I had the worst experience ever at 1027 Hair Lounge. I arrived at 9:45a today and my appointment was at 10:00am. I didn’t receive any greeting but everyone else who walked in did. Finally one person said hi and asked if I had an appointment because she thought I was waiting with someone. I told her I had an appointment and she called the braider who then called me.
