Head office (Vancouver) deemed the damage my own fault, and improbable by their trained staff and equipment. The Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws (265/70R17) are holding up well in this Calgary winter though.

It was unexpectedly pleasant, I urgently needed to change the tires on my Jeep and the 1010 turned out to be the closest. As a result, they changed my tires very quickly, for a great price, and at this time I was sitting in a very comfortable waiting area and drinking coffee. Thank you.
The wheels are very nice quality and the tires are Blizzack so they are also awesome. When picking up the wheels I noticed right away that none of the yellow dots were lined up with the valve stems (and no red dots on tires). A tire shop should really know that the yellow dot needs to be lined up with the valve stem as it marks the tires lightest point, which should be used by technicians to align with the wheel's heaviest point (usually the valve stem) for optimal balancing, requiring fewer weights. Called and asked if I could come in early for my new tire installation, they said to come by any time. They had me in and out in about 35 minutes. The person who was working the counter while their manager was away was very pleasant, prompt and personable.
