Incredible business! If you are staying at any of these camp sites this was super convenient! Used a 5 wheel for 3 nights at GAVIOTA STATE BEACH, something I do every year for the past 15 years! And can honestly say this was one of the best experiences! Thank you to the whole team.
VERY DISAPPOINTED with the business they do with Carpenteria State Park! This is the only company you can rent a trailer from while staying at this park, unless you have your own trailer. Their trailers are always out of stock, they’re ran down and EXTREMELY overpriced. We pay $500+ to book a spot at Carpenteria. I should be allowed to choose what trailer I put in the space that I paid for. It’s not right for me to be unable to rent from different people when 101 is OUT OF STOCK. The trailers here are getting run down, they never have enough, and they price gouge since somehow they are the only place you can rent from to camp at Carpinteria if you don’t have your own trailer. Something sounds a little fishy about that. If I pay someone to rent their trailer and they are insured what does it matter. Someone is getting a kickback.
Was referred to 101 RV Rentals, and am so glad we were. The photos on the website don't do the trailers justice; they were super nice, and clean. Came stocked with cooking supplies, and eating ware. Was worried that since we didn't have any water power at Gaviota St. Beach that we would run out of battery and water. There are solar panels on the unit we had (the one with 3 bunch beds), which powered the lights all day and night. Plenty of water, even with several of us taking quick showers. It was a first time renting a trailer for us and it went perfectly. Melissa was helpful and the driver who dropped it off was courteous and professional. The trailer was quite comfortable and clean. I would definitely rent again from 101!!
