I stayed in the over sized parking lot. It is open to the public and not secure people quite literally threw trash and pee bottles on the ground and in the bed of my truck. Not only that I have a black tool box on the back where it was pryed open and 4000$ worth of tools were stolen. I was worried about this area and asked a employee she said in her 3 years no car was ever broken into which is clearly a lie since in 2025 26 cars were broken into. and don’t expect police to show up it is New Orleans
We went on a Norwegian cruise from April 5th to 12th and parked in the oversized lot. We notice how open the lot was upon arrival , but was told it was safe and nothing ever happens here. Well when arriving back someone had broke into our truck. Think twice before choosing to park in their oversized parking lot.
