I have rented two units at the Monroe location for over a decade. Originally I rented with a different company and they were great. Someone was in the office everyday and their response time was spot on. Here comes MyPlace...OMG! My rental rates keep increasing but it's not because of updated security issues or additional on property staff. The manager is in a different state and maintenance may stop by weekly to look around. I rented a unit at the one in Monroe GA. Never again. There’s no people to communicate with. They don’t check your email. They take for ever to respond to anything if they even respond. Make sure you move out on the last day of your rent because they will take your money. They give you hella hassle when they do respond. The customer service with these people is non existent. I had moved out unit due to their extreme price increase. I was confirmed moved out may 28th but was still charged a fee for June even tho I had to confirm twice
I’m renting a unit here and I like it just fine. However I noticed that nearly all the locks are the kind they use when no one has rented a unit yet. Does that mean that there’s maybe only 10 of us that rent here? I hope it doesn’t go out of business and take my stuff with it.
