Slow, Disorganized, Unsecure Web Portal I turned in all my tax information in February, and they had to submit an extension because they are still not done with my taxes. Every time I call or email they give me vague answers about where they are at with completing my taxes. I'm worried whether they will ever complete my taxes. Further, their portal to host your important tax info doesn't even have at least 2-factor authentication. That is a good enough reason to not sign up for them.
After enduring three months of sheer incompetence and appalling service from 1800 Accountants, I feel compelled to share my harrowing experience to warn others against making the same costly mistake I did. Horrible company that will rip you off. I spoke with a representative and explained exactly what I was looking for. He told me I would get that service. I paid over 5000 for the service then no one would call me back. Come to find out its a service where you have to put your own info in. I run companies I don't have time for that and no one told me this is what I would have to do or I wouldnt have signed up. I had 1099s that had to be done for my subs. I have paid this business $6,544.90 to correct a previous return and to file our most recent return. The Tax Advisor assigned has provided little to no advice when requested; any advice that has been provided is vague and not actionable. This is certainly the opposite service that I was sold by the sales agent. I would NEVER!! recommend anyone use this company and I have no idea how on earth they have the positive reviews that they do other than if they were fake because with being forced to work with them for an entire year due to a year contract I signed up for when I didn't know paying monthly was even an option until way down the line as I was having issues with them. I was able to locate within the many reviews for 5 stars that are added each day....hmmm my issue. Which is 1800Accountant completed my taxes with my getting a refund.
