I ordered contacts and after applying my insurance, the cost was $88. This was about a week ago. Today I went into my bank account and had less money than expected. After looking, there was an $88 charge as well as a $135 charge for contacts. I looked on my account on the 1-800 contact website and my original order was deleted and a new order made without my insurance applied. $150 was supposed to be my insurance (they applied a $15 discount that is why it was $135). My daughter was 2 days late with submitting the $25 rebate, so we called 1800Contacts requesting for an extension, the rep. declined. As a customer who has made numerous purchases from them, I was surprised at their lack of empathy. You have lost our business and there are many options with similar prices that do not require submitting a paper rebate to get a discount. Recent price increases are insane. Such a poorly run company that prides itself on ripping customers off. Our family will no longer use 800Contacts.
