They took away one of my medical diagnoses, claiming it was something else I was already diagnosed with, which stopped me from getting the medication i needed. they then put me on a medication, and when i told them the medicine made me feel like clawing off my skin, made me feel uncomfortably anxious, and i was acting so different the staff was genuinely concerned about me and would constantly ask if i was ok, they just upped my dose and told me to "see if it got any better." My niece experience was def not what they wrote here. She was place at B1 Unit, the staff was nice, the nurses were very insightful and drs will call and answer our concerns whenever was need it. Kids were allowed to call their love ones, their love ones could also call at any time. According to my niece they will have recreation time(play time), school (math, reading books around) and group (a teacher that will speak about self care). NEGATIVE STARS!! This has to be one of the worst experiences i've ever had for a hospital. I don't know why anybody would send their child here. First of all , I tried to get them to transfer to the floor cause I had pertinent information from my daughters psychiatrists that I needed to relay in a timely manner and some security officer , with a very snotty , nasty attitude absolutely refused to transfer me! My father has anxiety issues and was Sent here from our local hospital. He was friendly to everyone but he was only there about a week,no one ever contacted me,and couldnt contact him.A care person was supposed to call but never did.hes home and dont see much of a change.he was better off at the local hospital.
