I went to see Thornton to ask a out a tummy tuck. After filling out all the paper work and talking to him for several minutes, he informed me that he doesn't do elective surgery on anyone with a BMI over 35 or A1C over 7.5. I told him about my 50 year struggle with obesity and he countered with, "What did you have for breakfast?
