The Zumiez in Southlands is great. The store manager, Dez, was super helpful. He was kind to my kids and helped us build / modify three boards. Dez is the man.
Shoutout Marcus he actually skates and knows what’s he talking about and Lauren for being super kind and helpful
2 of the girl workers were laughing at my friend and mocking her movements and doing no work while the guy worker mostly did it all 😬 unprofessional i’m a teen myself and I get having fun with co workers but it isn’t school
Visiting in town, borrowed an old board from a friend with rusted bearings and rotten bushings - Kayla (or Kaia) was incredibly helpful breaking down and resetting the board for me, and was great to chat with during the process. Board runs like butter, and there’s a great skate shop feel inside!
I almost always shop at this Zumiez due to a super nice employee Chris. He really does go above and beyond. He remembers me when I come in. He is really informative and makes me feel comfortable. The vibe with him is just really good. I hope he stays with this Zumiez a while!
