This is LITERALLY THE WORST COMPANY YOU CAN BOOK FOR YOUR MOVE. I typed it in all caps so you can read that again and let it sink in. Book this company at your own risk and if you've used them before, you should consider filing a lawsuit. They have no regard for the contract you sign and most importantly your belongings. WORST moving experience!! My girlfriend and I hired them for a long-distance move from PA to NY. The salesperson promised us that the shell will be delivered to our apartment and be unloaded from there, however, after they already charged us the second payment, they said they would have to do a “loose unload” where they unload the shell (while cutting open our lock that we put on the shell) and load it into a truck and then unload the truck again at our apartment. Don't even consider hiring them for long distance moves. They can't even give you a guarantee delivery date.
Really terrible customer service, unresponsive, inaccurate estimates, misleading sales representatives, DAMAGE
My move was supposed to happen on a Friday, a full 3 days before my lease ended. This was an in-city "truck move." The truck broke down and nobody ever showed up to perform the move. Zippy Shell did not have any contingency plan in place to locate another truck or find another solution. Now, I understand that there are some logistics involved here, but this is what I am paying for--if something happens, you as a company have to take responsibility and find a solution.
