This isn't my usual Zipcar location and it's made me appreciate my regular one so much more. I booked a Zipcar well in advance because the ones I usually use were both booked and when I got there after receiving the notification that it was ready, the car was nowhere to be seen. I tried messaging support which is what I usually do if the previous renter is running late but their chat was down. Just a horrible company. I've used them for the past couple of years with really no issues. The past year and 1/2 has been different though. Their customer service is horrible, and nothing ever gets resolved. My last 5 reservations - the location for the neighborhood has been changed, yet I get the same cookie cutter response from them, "unforeseen circumstances". Zipcar is good if the reservation you make is in the neighborhood you live in, not when you have to take a train or an Uber to go pick up the car that you reserved... read more
