I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with Zipcar in hopes that it saves others from wasting their time and money. If you’re located in Waterloo, do not bother signing up for Zipcar you will be misled, charged, and left with zero options. Zipcar has no cars in Waterloo despite numerous vehicles showing up in Google search for the area. Unfortunately they don’t actually tell you this information until you’ve already submitted an application to register for the service. The company refuses to offer a refund for the upfront application fees despite misleading enticing customers to register under false pretences.
