Heber Branch I have been a customer of Zions Bank since 2011. Recently, I discovered that if your account goes negative more than twice within a six-month period, the bank will place extended holds on incoming deposits — including verified payroll checks — for up to 10–11 days. These are legitimate employer payroll checks with years of deposit history that previously cleared within 24–48 hours.
