As a contractor I've been through other box stores and lumber stores and you get the typical bad services, frustrating wait times and employees who don't know what they are talking about. At Hodgins in Port Elgin every single staff member treats you like family, everyone there is extremely knowledgeable. The guys working the yard will find you the best 2x4 in the stack even if it's at the bottom plus their delivery team is efficient, quick and polite. Awesome service! After frustrating phone calls and emails with two other local businesses who carry building supplies, a quick phone call with a Zeigler employee resulted in an order placed, carefully wrapped and loaded into our pickup within 20 minutes! Will definitely be a repeat customer!
