Hi! I am Michelle Ingram and I own Zeus' Place. I would like to share a couple of things about Zeus' Place. We encourage socialization and play time for dogs who thrive on companionship. We find that exercise and play time decreases stress while in a kennel environment and make the dogs happier. We have over 20 webcams through out the building and backyard. All dogs get a minimum of 4 off-leash outside times per day in our full 30 X 120 secured lot. This time is either spent with other dogs playing or alone with staff. We al... read more

Happy dogs, happy owner. When I drop my dogs off for boarding, they are actually excited to go, which tells a lot about the care they're receiving. Helpful, friendly staff that really seems to care about each dog's needs. I hate having to board my dogs, but my dogs don't hate having to be boarded at Zeus' Place.
A note from Michelle – Hi! I am Michelle Ingram and I own Zeus' Place. I would like to share a couple of things about Zeus' Place. We encourage socialization and play time for dogs who thrive on companionship. We find that exercise and play time decreases stress while in a kennel environment and make the dogs happier. Our staff asks clients, when they drop their pets off, if they like other dogs and would like them to play with others while outside. We want your pet to be as comfortable as possible while in our care. We welc... read more
best boarding in town--paws down! – As a dog owner that works in the animal welfare field, I have very high standards when looking for a place to care for my kids when I'm away. Zeus' Place is one of the few places in town where I feel comfortable leaving my pets. The staff is always friendly and knows my dogs and their personalities. The kennels are clean and well sanitized. The staff asks if you want your dogs put in with other dogs during playtime, or if you would prefer that they had solitary yardtime, and all the suites... read more
Questionable service – My dog just got picked up and he is noticable stressed and exhausted. I have a tough dog that likes to play with others, but you have no idea how long they are locked up with multiple others. In the past we have only seen our dog on webcam once when we repeatedly requested a "suite" with cam. You can watch cats up for adoption all day long, but good luck seeing your dog that you're paying for. I would love to know the most dogs they have had in there at once. Bottom line is if you dog isn't able to hol... read more
Nice people, bad haircut – I have never boarded my dog here so I can't speak to that, but I did get my dog groomed at Zeus'. I really wanted to support this company because I know Michelle started this grooming/boarding business in order to help finance the animals she was always rescuing. They always have animals for adoption in the front. I think it's a great business model and the people who work there seem very nice. However, I wasn't very satisfied with the way my dog looked after her haircut. We have a Corgi with a flu... read more
Zeus' Place: Where your dog would ask you to take them. – Hands down, best and most dog-oriented place I've found in and around New Orleans. I spent weeks researching before placing my dog anywhere I deemed acceptable. Michelle, the owner at Zeus', was willing to take my very large, very difficult, very dog-unfriendly pooch when I was in a pinch and temporarily homeless. I was even able to visit her or come pick her up for the day. Do you believe I couldn't anywhere else? Since then I've volunteered many a day walking some o... read more
Great place to keep a dog! – I take my dog there once a twice a week to have doggy day care and sometimes to stay over. I have a great dane and everyone there knows him! They know their regulars and I love that about them. When I used to take my second dog there they slept in the same suite - that was so cute. I know the owner there and she has even offered to write me a professional refernce on my great dane. I love it there and I know you will too!!!!
Not too shabby, not too chic – Zeus' Place was recommended to me by several people who have kept their dogs there, and my dog went there when my normal dog care company/family (Deb's Dog Care, LLC), was unavailable. While I was a little disappointed in the overall cleanliness and organization of the place at first glance, my dog didn't seem to mind and immediately went into full play mode (he seemed to like it, before, during and after his stay). I've never seen two dogs in one kennel (suite), like mentioned in the other rev... read more
Misrepresented - Animal Shelter Conditions – Gambit Weekly calls this dog boarding facility the best. As someone who pampers their pet, I can't say I agree. The dogs are kept two to a shelter-style concrete kennel (for company, they say, which would be much more believable if every crate wasn't full, and stacked on top of one another, even in the broom closet), cleaning supplies are sloppily stacked, the place just seems dirty, and the only dogs outside in the yard belonged to one of the employees while another worker sat ou... read more
