I can't understand the 4.2 rating for this resort. Midway is a lovely town. We were confident in our choice to stay here due to all the reviews. The pool is dirty and old. We went for about 15 min, and decided to leave. You can buy a day pass for homestead across the street and I'd recommend it- it's a beautiful space there. The resort overall feels really old and in need of major renovation. It's very quiet in the middle of summer. The lobby is very small. Zermatt staff helped where they could. The problem was we booked thru VRBO and the resort was powerless to help. The place is badly in need of maintenance and we learned from a local realtor that there is a Class Action Suit against the HOA for this reason. VRBO hosts Scott & Amy are the worst hosts ever. They literally hang up on you if you call with ANY problem. They own 10 units there so if you go through VRBO, it’s likely that you’ll get one of their 10 units. BEWARE OF THESE HOSTS!!!!
